It
fills me with joy to see that none of the couples will anymore been be
victimized by infertility. All thanks to the great Robert Edwards for
pioneering ‘In Vitro Fertilization’ (IVF). Through IVF infertile couples can easily have
babies. After the birth of first IVF baby, Louis Brown in 1978, there has been
a tremendous increase in the number of people opting for IVF.
IVF Procedure in India has
shown its presence as that of effectively treating males and females with
various kinds of infertility problems. Although the success rates of IVF are
extremely high but one in thousand cases suffers certain kinds of risks. Some
of the common risks are multiples pregnancies, pre-mature delivery, low birth
weight, and miscarriage. These complications occur only is rare cases.
After
my personal research on the procedures of IVF and its success rate, I can
surely say that it is worth taking a risk. I guess there is a lot more to the
positive side of IVF then its negative.
The
best advantage that IVF offers to patients is, it enables them to have a child
who is going to belong to their own genetics. Been a big advantage in itself,
it draws maximum attention of the patients.
Coming
to the IVF procedure cost in India,
it is considerably lesser compared to the cost of countries like US, UK etc. It
would be rather smart to save on your hard earned money then to shed them out
in paying the huge hospital bills in countries abroad where medical expenses
are really high.
